Introducing myself

My name is Sinead Walsh. I am a Counsellor, Mother, Friend and a big fan of Nature in all it’s colours and lessons it can bring to us.

I have a wealth of experience in the Health, Education and Mental Health fields, working in support roles where I have helped people find their voices and get the help they have needed. This has led me to really finding my place within the counselling profession. The road to this place has been a sometimes painful and completely life-changing journey of self-discovery as well as teaching me the skills I need to be able to work with and support my counselling clients. I also have experience of designing and facilitating groups and run wellbeing groups for Mind alongside my counselling practice.

I am passionate about not labelling people and asking not what is wrong with you but what has happened to you.

My Approach

I work with a person-centred core (although may use other techniques if appropriate) which means I create a safe, supportive and accepting space to help you explore any issues you would like to bring and to unlock the answers that you will have within yourself.
